28 new 15,000 year old viruses discovered in Tibetan glacier

For the past 15,000 years, a glacier on the northwestern Tibetan Plateau of China has hosted a party for some unusual guests: an ensemble of frozen viruses, many of them unknown to modern science.
  • Melting ice from climate change could release the pathogens into the environment, one researcher said, calling it a "worst-case scenario."

It sounds strongly like an atomic bs. 1. who's that "researcher"? 2. How did he found them? By scanning the whole glacier or he's been so lucky to stumble exactly in the very spot where they are? Or all the glacier is filled by frozen unknown viruses? 3. Whatever biological sample, big no more than few nanometers, like a virus should be according with the "science", if frozen it will explode. Did you notice what's going on in your freezer when you forget inside your beer's can? Well, a virus does the same, so how the heck is possible to see at the electronic microscope, something like a biological sample big some nanometer, if it's frozen ? An in this case it should have ben frozen by the nature , before to frozen it to put it under the microscope's lense.
Yes, this questions also the existence of all the viruses, not just of this. We should look more deeply into the history, or maybe the fairy tale, of viruses and vaccines.
