Actual Destruction of Ancient Rome. Part 2.

Today's video will cover a newspaper article from a man who visited Rome in 1813 and tells of the pitiful state of the the city, accompanied by the pictures and a little video of the excavation of the ancient part of the city. In our first video the two documents stated that that 1,500 houses were destroyed and that many "sunk" two stories into the ground. The pictures and the article support this account from 1530s.
