This stuff is always attributed to the Romans. How the hell did they find time to build all these sophisticated structures all over the world while also waging war against their numerous enemies? You look at a map of the Roman Empire and it completely surrounds the Med Sea. Acquiring and maintaining such extensive borders must have taken up a lot of manpower. Every young man conscripted into war is one less person to become an artist, architect, mason, plumber, and all the other skilled people one needs to construct a castle, fort, temple, or whatever. And there is no mention of women taking over these jobs owing to the men being gone, as happened in both World Wars. Oh, well, I guess they did all of this by the "somehow" method that we've heard so much about. They even had time to build these tunnels under some guy's commode. What a load of crap!
