Ran into this architect - Theodore Link - via this thread: Beautiful Old Buildings: demolitions, started by @jd755. He allegedly designed the Wabash Pittsburgh Terminal, and a whole bunch of other beautiful buildings.

Here is what Wikipedia tells us about this guy:
KD: I think this architect deserves a much closer look. Chances are, we either have another appointed architect, or a guy who used to know a whole lot. His alleged attendance of the École Centrale Paris, is worth a note as well. This one, and École des Beaux-Arts appear to be where just about all of our outstanding architects might have received their "knowledge".
