What do you define as evidence? Its not an electrical cable. Its an endless cable/rope/wire using the same mechanism as overhead chair lifts use. The trolley driver operates a clamp which grabs the moving cable and it moves along the tracks. When he backs the clamp off the trolley slows and...

Who said anything about filling a trench with cobbles? Those stones are shaped not natural. The two uses for them in those photos are infill around the tram tracks and the road edge gutters to direct surface water to drains.

I'm no expert in anything. I just have experience of some things so know what I am looking at sometimes. The basket can only tip a bit due to the positioing of the ropes and their proximity to the ends of the baskets. As to the wheel. I used to push a two wheeled wooden handcart around the...

The stones look like squared cobbles so my guess would be that street is in the process of being fitted with gutters for drainage.

The wheel is wider than the gap where the flange on the tram wheel engages so in fact the cart wheel cannot go into the gap in the track. Pushbike of the day on the other hand. The bloke is a window cleaner standing at one end of a long basket suspended on ropes and pulleys attached to the...

Unidentified Flying Object. The light moved from east to west parallel to the level plane in the sky. I couldn't see what it was or what if anything it was attached to. Unidentified, tick. Poll | Have you ever seen a legit UFO?

Yes a yellow light travelling west to east around 7-00pm on a spring night. It was below the lowest altitude jets pass over here and was silent. Yes number one son and I were sat on a bench on a small hill in the grounds of Holker Hall and we watched a pair of planes going through the blue sky...

Pompeii Unpublished: Sketches not permitted to be made...

Me neither but that site was the one that popped up and it is amusing if nothing else. Did find the claim Isis simply means Temple. If that is so why not use the word Isis instead of Temple when describing a singular building? Instead Isis has today a goddess. Makes no sense to me.

Book | The New Chronology by Fomenko and Nosovskiy

Awarewolf, silveryou is right. When it comes to Fomenkos chronology it has to be read before discussion. That is not shutting down discussion it is sound advice. I tried reading it in 2018 but got nowhere as I glaze over when it comes to number workings and investigations., always have since...

Isis in the pineapple. Deity focus: Isis | Cosmic Pineapple Edit to add Searched high and low for Isis and a pineapple imagery and I found none. Comment by 'jd755' in media 'Roman Mosaic Showing the Transport of an Elephant'

Why are the men on the ship dressed differently to the men on the shore? Why do the men on the shore wearing tights or leggings look "medieval" ? Nothing is in scale or proprtion in that image. Its quite staggering to read claims of fantastic skill and quality in all things Roman then look at...
